An anniversary Myosotis dress
I spotted this incredible Lady McElroy Cobra Corsage fabric a while back on a few other blogs and it was love at first sight! With my first Wedding anniversary approaching, I knew this would make the perfect date night dress 😍
I decided to make another Myosotis hack as it's worked so well for me this far! So I did my usual and removed the collar, lowered the neck and this time added some little puffy sleeves with the addition of shirring about 2" up from the hem of the sleeve. I also made some thin waist ties and topstitched the neck facing in place continuing down to the waistline to give a clean finish. I omitted buttons this time as I thought it might be too fussy...but I can always add some at a later stage if I fancy! Ah, the joys of making your own bespoke wardrobe!
I wore this out for fancy pants drinks with my husband and had a great time, it's comfy and pretty and the snakes make it kind of edgy too...a win in my book!
Love this pattern hack so much but I should probably try some new patterns soon 😂
